Zeyko was a German kitchen manufacturer that was established in 1933. In 1970 Zeyher and Kopp came together and formed a brand new Zeyko. One year later, they produced their first kitchen. Zeyko became a successful kitchen manufacturer locally and internationally as time went by. It was considered one of the most eminent kitchen brands in many European countries and the world as a whole. They made kitchen furniture that met quality performance and design per stringent requirements. This would help them attract new customers every year.
The Zeyko factory only employed the most experienced and talented personnel. Their team of experts would look into every detail and provide their customers with the most desirable final product. Their work reflected a high degree of correspondence to functionality, security, and reliability.
They used natural and eco-friendly materials, for example, metals, wood, stone, leather, glass, and laminate, to design their kitchens. They would use both traditional methods and modern technologies without destroying the environment.
They would customize their furniture based on their customers' needs and preferences. Their team of professionals paid attention to the customers' specifications and delivered exactly what they were asked.
For those who were unsure of what they wanted, the team members would assist them in making a favorable choice.
They had a variety of kitchen furniture designs and therefore did not limit their customers to a few choices. They also had a wide range of colors, materials, and furnishes and thus enabled people to make their dream selection.
They were keen on their material selection and made sure that everything they used was environmentally friendly.
They would design decent furniture based on any reasonable budget.
However, things did not end well with Zeyko. After many years of success, the company started experiencing financial constraints. The company could not carry out production and was unable to meet the customers' demands with time.
In February 2017, Zeyko filed for insolvency and wanted to restructure the business using insolvency law.
They appointed Dr. Hubert Ampferl, a Dr. Beck & Partner law firm lawyer, as administrator on 24th February, and the company confirmed that the administrator would not affect the ongoing business.
According to Johannes la Cour, who was then managing director, the company focused on administration because of an increasingly competitive environment and financial constraints.
The employees were informed about what was going on, and they were assured that their salaries and wages were till the end of April.
In mid-2017, Zeyko closed its doors.
